Because ECOWAS need to think carefully if they want a regional war. I doubt they dare to go to war with the threat that the war will involve 2 more countries.
African wars are hard to win…. they cant even beat ISIS and those militant groups… rebellions/rebel armies, almost never get defeated….
France is stretched, due to Ukraine War – but they need to act due to nuclear dependence…. this is going to become their version of Falklands War.
