Putin and Modi together won 69.3% of the votes.
This poll result is highly indicative that:
– the sentiment of the "total world population"
– most people are neutral on Ukraine War
– Putin, despite the invasion, is highly popular
– Putin whom also won DPA's Person of the Year 2022 is not a fluke.
– Zelenskyy still have tremendous support around the world, just not even a quarter of the world.
I believe the vote will skew away from Modi and Putin had there been an option to vote for Xi Jinping (twitter limits voting to only 4 options).
DPA's Person of the Year 2022 was between the same candidates except we have Xi Jinping than Joe Biden (based on nominations, Joe Biden was the 5th, but twitter limitations means he cant be voted on)
One thing to note is, Indian population is huge on twitter, thus Modi getting a huge vote count is "normal". What is interesting is Putin winning it despite of that.
