Just to stir more shit:
There was never any dispute about CCP or CPC until recent years under Xi Jinping. It was used interchangeably.
There are no "official english" in China until maybe the past 20 years – everything is translated directly without a formal english version of anything. And that was never a problem anyway.
So….. get a life.
