Hamas' ground operations outside of Gaza has basically been reduced to suicide bombers attack at Sa'ad and further fighting in the northern front at Zikim military base (with a rumor shooting at Ashkelon).

Hamas in my opinion had ran out of effective military solution to fight Israel, with the only thing they can do now seemed to be firing rockets at settlements (that does nothing strategically or tactically)

Their best hope now is for their "allies", like the Hezbollah or other rebel groups from Iraq and other regions, to start a new front in the north from Lebanon or from Syria.

Both are bad place to invade into Israel, as these are highly militarised region, especially border with Syria.
